This is one of my paintings based on a famous Jenny Saville painting.
This is one of my older ones from GCSE, and although it does scare me (although not as much as the original painting does), I still quite like it!

This is my favourite out of all of my paintings. It's based on a painting by my favourite artist; Leonid Afremov.
Afremov paints with oil paints and with a palette knife, however at the time, my only resources available were my trusty acrylic paints, a canvas and a paint brush! So I went with it.
System 3 Acrylic (Many layers! Trying to be oils)

Now this one was actually just a bit of fun!
What I did was very simple. A lot of people ask me how I did it and if it is paint. Well the answer is very easily and no. If you want to try it, this is all I did:
You need to have 1) Thick paper/card
2) Strong glue
3) A hair dryer
4) A pack or two of crayola wax crayons (depending on how big your paper is!)
Step 1: Stick the crayons to the paper lying flat on their side in which ever order you like.
Step 2: Once the glue is dry (maybe leave overnight), lean the card with your crayons on a block of some sort so that it is at an angle of about 45 degrees with the crayons at the top of the elevated card.
Step 3: Turn on the hair dryer and angle it downwards towards the crayons from the top end of the card.
- The Crayons will melt slightly, and because of the angle, the wax will create this dripping pattern like you can see on mine. Once melted enough to create this pattern, leave it to dry for a few hours and ta dah!

This is my pop-art interpretation of the beautiful Cheryl Cole!
Although it may be fair to say that she doesn't look so 'beautiful' in this shade of yellow!
If you want to try something like this, my advice is select the image you want to paint, use photoshop or a similar program to posterize the image to give you a better guide to identify the lighter tones, mid tones and shadows :)

This is my most recent painting of Derren Brown! The man is a genius, couldn't respect him more!
This was painted as a gift for someone else who is a fan of Derren, and I really hope they like it :)
The only colours I used for this are purple, red, white and blue. This was not my original plan, but it sort of just happened!

One of my favourites!
I painted this tiger for one simple reason, they are the most beautiful animal on the planet which gives me enough motivation to try and do it justice :P
That just means that I take more time doing it and the things I admire always turn out much better than the rest :)
--> System 3 Acrylics + VERY little water.

A slightly stylistic hummingbird and 3D paper flowers. Wasn't sure about this one, but someone has taken ownership of it for their kitchen, so I hope they like it :)
